Samsung's SGH-P310 credit card phone
Now that they've mastered the fine art of fitting a phone's guts roughly into the outline of a credit card, Samsung is turning their attention to beautifying the whole affair with the SGH-P310. Like the P300 before it, the P310 could theoretically squeeze into some wallets (though we certainly don't recommend sitting on it) -- but unlike the P300, the P310 loses the awkward-looking black cap in favor of a more refined gloss black / brushed stainless combo. Specs have likewise been boosted with a 2.0-megapixel camera replacing the old 1.3-megapixel unit, Bluetooth 2.0, and a microSD slot for when you don't find the phone's 80MB of internal storage adequate. We'll keep you abreast of release and pricing as it comes down the pike.

I can't wait for this phone to be released. I love the P300 and this seems to have ironed out the minor gripes I had with it.

Sweet!... Only one thing missing, I think: QVGA screen. Still, it will be my next phone...

If this is only tri-band like the P300, then who cares?

I bought this phone in Hong Kong. The beauty of the phone is its size, but with that comes some very serious issues with the battery life . With normal usage ,the life in the phone itself lasts no longer than three hours. There is of course the back up battery in the case , but if I have to use the case most of the time I not have bought the phone. Also , at the maximum volume , the ring tone can hardly be heard if it is in your pocket with the case on. Beware!!!

Hi Steve,
Do you mind me asking how much you paid for your phone in HK dollars & where you purchased it from? I have a friend visiting HK tomorrow who can get me one for HK$2800, but I thought this was too expensive.

This phone Rocks large for its size. I just got one and never belived how easy it is to replace your laptop (no pun intended!!). As a programmer, you might still want to code on your desktops/laptops.
I got it with the car charger, TV cable and a 1GB memory card.
Cool Phone
