The Boy Genius Report: BlackBerry loves Goooold!

Field report tidbits from Engadget's mobile insider, the Boy Genius.

I guess Pharrell really started a trend. Here we have a solid 18k white gold BlackBerry 8700g. If you can stand your service being reduced a little (due to the massive amount of, well, gold) and can afford the high price tag, call up your boy Jacob The Jeweler -- he made this flawless. I have never seen such craftsmanship.

I'm click the link, so excuse me if this is not the area. I recently bought a Cing. 8700c to replace my sister's malfunctioning 7100t (T-Mo)and was told there's a "Unlock code/ configuration" but for the past several weeks I've been unable to get it.

I ran across your success this morning but I'm still not clear on how it's done. Could you give me that info, if it's available?
