The Hermes has the latest generation Intel 416mhz chip and the full 3G/wifi communications chipset, Quad GSM, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, 802.11b/g.

So the Hermes will be slightly faster and get a little bit better battery life (newer processor revision) compared to the 6700.
