Unboxing Verizon's Chocolate
Screw waiting until the official release this week -- we want to live vicariously through the few lucky souls who've already managed to score a piece of Verizon's Chocolate. A HowardForums member has managed to hook us all up, putting down his glossy black bundle of joy just long enough to snap a few shots of the VX8500 being extracted from its packaging materials. As might be expected, the phone looks to quickly get covered with smudges and fingerprints, but such is the price one must pay for mobile exclusivity these days.

I just saw this commercial on T.V. too for the Verizon Chocolate & I'm trying to figure out what song is playing in the background. It's boggling the mind! :@

I think I might want one. My Motorola E815 is being a pain in the ass, freezing up half the time it's plugged in the charger. Stupid thing.

This is a sweet little unit! But how do you get an upgrade if you're not due one until next year? When I tried to order one online, I was denied and told to call. Anyone know what the price would be?

Is the Chocolate going to be fully Bluetooth enabled so I can tranfer data and autodial using my Palm Lifedrive?

seriously...am I the only who just doesn't see the point in this phone?

The name of the song used in the commercial is called "Strict Machine" by Goldfrapp. The same song was also used by Nintendo for their GameBoy Advance SP ad about a year or so ago.
