It stands for quarter QVGA which is 160 x 120. The glossy front is actually "a single piece of glass with a vacuum metalized finish which gives it the jewel-like appearance..."<br><br>The K1m is about 1/10 of an inch thicker than the V3m, but the battery life is much improved.
