The K1m is about 1/10 of an inch thicker than the V3m, but the battery life is much improved. VZW should drop first, hopefully with a passable music player :-/

Anyway, I think it's a shame Engadget didn't cover the announcement of the Motorola FONE--it's more interesting since it wasn't expected and because it's trying to compete with the Samsung SGH-t509 (it's an ultra-thin and ultra-cheap candybar).
