Cingular rolls out Samsung D807

Quick: what phone form factor was conspicuously missing from Cingular's lineup? An ultra-thin slider, that's what. Enter the SGH-D807, Samsung's thin slider du jour, coming in at a trim .61 inches thick. Essentially an Americanized D800 minus the glorious QVGA screen, the D807 sports a more pedestrian 176 x 220 display, quad-band GSM, EDGE, a MicroSD slot, and the obligatory 1.3 megapixel camera. Available now for $129.99 after rebate with a new contract.

You really shouldn't quote prices for Cingular here. Where I am, it's $99.99 after rebate. They price things by market with online and telesales being different too. Or if the price is going to be quoted, say where.

MobileBurn says this is the same phone as the T809 that was already released for T-Mobile. But the T809 has a QVGA screen (240x320). What's with the lower-res screen for Cingular?! I am excited about an EDGE slider, though. I've been waiting for something like this.

I work for cingular in the miami region. I Cant even get this phone in my store yet. the price will be either 150 or 99 depending on the rate plan. I also heard something about them coming with free bluetooth headsets, but not from as trusted sorce so its probably not true.
