KT Powertel introduces South Korea to BlackBerry

It's not often that we mention a cellphone, platform, technology, or service and "not available in South Korea" in the same breath. Yet somehow, the humble BlackBerry, ubiquitous for years in North America and available through most of the civilized world in one form or another, is just now making its way to South Korea. Designed for iDEN, KT Powertel is introducing the PTT BlackBerry 7100i on its home turf. So wait -- let us get this straight -- not only are they getting BlackBerry for the first time, but they're getting a recycled Nextel piece? No DMB? No 10 megapixel shooter?
