Yesterday I posted a comment re: crappy Verizon service for my Q that bit the dust in San Francisco on the Destination Q post. The tale of Q woe continues...
After spending an hour on the phone with a VZW agent trying to figure out why the new device that was swapped out won't ring with my number, he determined that the in store agent had given me a Q that was already activated on someone else's account.
I don't know how a shiny, new, out of the box device could already be activated, just call me lucky. When asked if the Q seemed to be generating a lot of problems, the agent said that they seemed to be giving out quite a few activated Qs. I have to go back to the store to get another device because the ESN code from my Q in Atlanta is the same as the Q that was swapped out in SF. To be continued...
