Nokia 6315i musicphone approved by FCC
It looks like Pantech and Nokia have been hanging out again, but this time Nokia will be the one dropping the rebranded handset, an EV-DO-sporting model for Verizon known as the 6315i (and formerly known as the PN-E330). Phone Scoop discovered this recent approval while enjoying the FCC website, and reports back that it features a 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD slot, and Bluetooth, along with dedicated external music controls. We'll let you know when we find out a release date and some pricing info for this fairly feature-filled flip phone.[Via Phone Scoop]

just got it yesterday and is turning out to be a good purchase. thin, light, with a sharp, bright screen. classic design and comfortable to hold and handle. i heard the screen made a high pitched noise but that turned out to be false.

Thus phone is great!!! I returned my razr and was told by a lot of verizon people that it was a good choice consumer reports ranks them pretty low, but this phone is light yet doesn't feel like it's going to break. very cute, it fits anywhere!

Just bought the phone today. Much easier to hold compared to the WIDE original Razor phone. I am satisfied with this one!

Verizon has crippled the 6315i bluetooth. No file transfers, no synching, no moving photos from the phone to your PC via bluetooth. Verizon disabled all of this so you have to pay for their crappy premium services.
Also there seems to be a bug that prevents voice dialing from being activated from a Bluetooth handset. You have to manually activate voice dialing on the phone itself prior to each voice dial call. The BT handset should be able to do this using it's call button, but can't, possibly due to some crippling of bluetooth profiles by verizon.
