Nokia's E3 booth tour

Alright, now this is just sad.

Nokia's plans for a party might have been overly optimistic.

We thought this smoke curtain was pretty cool, if only they could capture this kind of experience on a S60 phone.

If you thought the female staff was bored...

We thought better of an attempt to figure out what this horse is all about.

Between multiple Nintendo titles and now this Nokia bit, 3D fishing seems to be all the rage at E3 this year.

I love next generation n-gage @ May 12th 2006 11:55AM
There is some interesting movies in Nokias own E3 pages http://www.n-gage.com/e3/index.htm
Real time demonstration with Nokia N93 is unbelievable. That kind of graphics with mobilephone?
I own N70 and now I can get new N-gage games to my phone. N-gage have some really good games and if I dont need to buy some crappy gamephone to play the games thats real progress. Go Nokia!

I look forward to the day when Nokia realizes that they are a mobile phone company rather than a company that makes mobile phones and video game players...

Nokia's E3 booth is just another indication that the N-Gage platform has failed. For Nokia to succeed in the gaming market they must get in bed with either Sony or Nintendo.

Insiders in the 2006 E3 expo mentioned that the Nokia N-Gage booth was getting a steady stream of visitors trying out the games on different phones for the first 2 days. I have pictures to prove it. Did you check out the N-Gage booth in the last day only? I'm disappointed. EngadgetMOBILE should be checking out MOBILE news FIRST and the rest should come later.
You guys didnt even know that the "horse game" was actually "Shadow-Born" ... the newest RPG game for the N-Gage? "3D game running on some random phone"? Unbelievable. I hope you know that the N-Gage can run direct Playstation ports and also has a faster processor to the Nintendo DS.
And here I was thinkin maybe you might have done a bit more research for MOBILE-ware. You've disappointed me.

LosBurritos, this publication was ripped directly from joystiq.com, a videogame version of engadget.com. These 3 blogs often share related articles with one another. The editors of joystiq are the authors of this post, not the editors of engadgetmobile.com

Ok, the first post looks like it was written and posted by some kind of Nokia PR.

#3-Virtuous:
Nokia doesn't really need to get into bed with Sony or Nintendo. They need to get in bed with the companies that Sony and Nintendo are in bed with currently. The major reason for the N-Gage's failure is the lack of well developed media; not just crappy ports of big games from other consoles.
