With "My Circle" everyone is welcome at Alltel
Alltel -- the self-dubbed
"America's largest network" -- is playing nice with a whole host
of annoying mobile network spokespeople with their new Alltelcircle service. Mobile users represented by Catherine Zeta
Jones, that "can you hear me now?" guy, Sprint's Mr. Trenchcoat Man, and Cingular's bouncy orange mascot, can
all be included in your "Circle" of ten friends. Once a phone number is added, you can make and receive
unlimited calls with that person, which gives you one less excuse for not calling your mother every day. Of course,
you'll need a rate plan of $59.99 or higher to qualify for My Circle, but once you sign up you can switch up your My
Circle members at any time through your online account.

I have been trying to log into my "my Circle" account , and it seems that all the information I have will not let me in. I had already talked to customer service and changed my password, and still nothing. I want to be able to access my account so I can change my numbers in my MY CIRCLE account. This is starting to make me mad, and am getting tired of being locked out of my account everytime I try to access it.

Ah, they fooled me. I thought they had actually used actual images of the verizon guy, the sprint guy and catherine zeta-jones, when in fact they just grabbed three random models and put them into a costume. Still, pretty interesting that each wireless carrier has a strong enough identity that you know exactly who they are simply by their spokespeople.

Poor Cingular is the only one that doesn't have a real person as a spokesperon. I'm happy with Catherine Zeta Jones as my spokesperson.
I thought the Alltel guy was B-list actor and environmentalist nut-job Ed Begley Jr.
