Samsung's Tristar X828 6.9-mm thin champ
Hey check-it fella, there’s a
new slimster phone on the block kickin’ about by the name of X828, dig? At 6.9-milimeters (mostly, note that
top-end bulge), this new unannounced Samsung shaves a full millimeter off KTF’s previous skinny
champ, the EV-K100, which held the record for oh, about two weeks over that 8.8-mm
VK 2000 fatty. Now, with those dimensions you’d expect it to skimp on the specs, right? Au contraire mon
fraire, the X828 still eeks-out a 1.9-inch 262k color screen, Bluetooth, MP3 player and 3D virtual surround capable
speakers, 80MB of on-board memory, and a 2 megapixel shooter. At this rate of slimaturization, we expect to see a
cellphone film we can slather across our palms by next year’s CES. Click-on for more pics after the break.

oh my god that's ridiculously thin. I'm happy with my SE K750 though, it's 2 megapixel camera has autofocus :)

If only this thing worked with iSync and Salling Clicker (well, also if the camera were comparable to/better than my SE K750i's), I'd be all over it.

Now all they need to do is 1) trim the camera off, 2) add a memory card slot 3) replace their UI with Nokia's or SE's

Yonatron-
word.
what about the k800i? 3.2MP is kinda sick...but still overkill. im thinking about that k750i now that i am kinda growing sick of my nokia 6682.

whats up with all these paper thin phones. personally if phone size stayed standard while features just increased like they should, rather then spending all research to just make current chips smaller and forgo spec enhancements (props on a 2mp cam on this phone though). get me a vga touch screen with at least a 3 mp camera and a couple gigs of flash memory, so long as its not the size of my home phone im a happy man

It's "Nano" thin. (I prefer my e260 over the Nano, though.)

I believe the French word for brother is spelled "frere" as opposed to "fraire".

7. I believe the French word for brother is spelled "frere" as opposed to "fraire".
You're almost right: it is spelled "fr?" (with an accent grave on the first e), but more commonly used is the expression (although it doesn't rhyme) "au contraire mon ami", as per the famous words by Hercule Poirot, the equally famous and slightly pedantic Belgian detective in many of Agatha Christie's novels.
