Yahoo! Mobile Matchcast brings World Cup to phones
This being a
World Cup year, it's only fitting that some of the slickest ways to digest sports stats will be coming our way before
the tournament hits in June. Along those lines, Yahoo! has partnered up Everypoint to develop Yahoo! Mobile Matchcast
for Java enabled phones. The downloadable app "pushes" scores and stats to a user's handset, along with
photos, previews, and tournament news. It all works in real time, and the content is displayed by Everypoint's vector
display engine to keep things looking sharp. The app will be available for download at the official tournament site,
we're not sure on the price.

Soccer is such a crappy sport. It's though, the limeys come up with sports like soccer and tennis and get their butts kicked at their own sport. Haha.

Soccer is a crappy sport? Really? Dis the Brits, too? Really? What is your idea of a good sport for mobile phones? Baseball? American football? Didn't Japan just become world champions at baseball? Haha right back atcha! Just because you're narrow minded doesn't mean the rest of us are to be lumped in with you. If my mobile can get the World Cup Mobile Matchcast I'll be all over it! To each his own, but don't call Soccer "crappy" just because you don't watch it, and the Brits have fought and died alongside us, they are the best friends we have; so watch the dissing.

2. Soccer is such a crappy sport. It's though, the limeys come up with sports like soccer and tennis and get their butts kicked at their own sport. Haha.
What the hell are you talking about, you Americans are retarded, here are some facts for you:
1. Soccer is the worlds most popular sport, played on every continent on this planet, your football is not, and neither is baseball.
2. You actualy need to be born with skill to be paid the millions of dollars, and not just take steroids and be called the best.
3. You retarded americans don't like soccer because from birth you are bombarded with retarded sports, i will give you reasons why they are retarded:
Baseball: You play for 10sec and then rest for 1min, only one person is playing at a time
Football: Once again play for 10sec and rest for a min, still significantly better than bastball it actualy takes an athletic person to play this sport, games are won by coaching not thrugh skill of players
Basketball: I can not coment, i love basketball, it is a team sport, you need to be born with skill, and people like magic, jordan got me interested and webber, kobe, make me still want to watch it.
So please, unless you can actualy back up your statement as to what makes soccer crappy, oh and reason for calling it a crapy sport might have something to do with getting your asses beat 3 to 0 ib te first game,so a recap, your sports are forced onto you and are slow paced in order to cram as much comercial time as posible, because you armericans don't seem to have enough smarts to figure it out, it is ok you are no good at this sport and it shows but it is ok, let the rest of the world enjoy the most popular sport on the planet
P.S. your superbowl is not shown on other country, let alone in any other country, ha ha ha but FIFA games are! so much for it being a crappy sport...
picking you apart is too fun because there are way too manny angles i can come at you, so go enjoy your McDonalds, TakoBell, JackInTheBox, BurgerKing, DelTako, do i need to keep going ? By the way i lived in Oakland / California please don't bother rying to attack me with stupid "you europeans" your women are 95% overweight and whores to boot, your cars are garbage $200 dollar car ridding on $2000 rims, please don't bother.
in case you feel the need to be further humiliated or if anyone else wants to make a reply to my coment hit me up on AIM: waflbrglr

This would be wonderful for the Cricket World Cup in the West Indies next year.
