Two new Samsung clamshells just got FCC
approval, including the SCH-A870 (pictured) which clearly bears Verizon branding. Not a lot of info other than that,
but the A870 has Bluetooth, supposedly does EV-DO, and might feature a 2 megapixel camera. No word on any SCH-A645
specs (the FCC is really dropping the ball here), but both phones could be US bound Q2 2006.

Hmm...just a heads up -- the title does not match the phones discussed

There's no such thing as an A656.
The A645 is headed to Canada, not the US.
The A870 is not EV-DO.

Why do all the CDMA companies get like the phones with 2 megapix camera and the GSM market doesn't???? The highest resolution u can get on a GSM company is 1.3 megapix.

I'm getting tired of the US wireless telecoms making US users be last to get new or better technology
