Kinpo's SP70 Smartphone shows up at the FCC

We haven't seen much from Kinpo since their iDo S600 Pocket PC phone, but their SP70 Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone just surfaced on the FCC site, and it's looking plenty familiar. The specs are pretty nice, with a 2.8-inch QVGA LCD headlining, but the 128MB of ROM, 64MB RAM, miniSD slot, and 1.3 megapixel camera are all holding their own. Along with most of the style, the SP70 carries over most of the size niceties of its predecessor. The phone manages a 0.8-inch thickness and 5 ounce weight -- not bad for the specs and screen. There is no 3G radio to speak of, but the quad-band GSM phone does sport 802.11b WiFi and a bit of Bluetooth 1.2 for good measure. No telling when or if this unit will make it stateside, but this FCC approval is (hopefully) a good sign of things to come.
