Motorola's PEBL skips along in four bright new colors

As with any successful and/or fashionable phone from Motorola, the colors are soon to follow, and the PEBL is proving to be no exception. Just in time for Spring, Moto is dropping some new Summer colors for the ladies into the lineup. The pink, orange, green, and blue shades might even prove matchable to that still-so-cute iPod mini that you couldn't pry out of the cold, dead, manicured fingers of a fashionista.

i actually really like that shade of green. these are actually a lot more appealing than the gray that tmobile is selling right now haha. i can see them getting popular.

Here we go again with all the colors. There is a story (link below) in which the Motorola Mobile Phone Division Chairman descibes Americans as spend thrifty consumers that only care about phones with pretty colors and cute phone form factors. He basically says that as a company, for the American market, Motorola is not concerned with releasing quality phones with cool features that consumers may find useful, because they've discovered that by simply putting a new coat of paint on last years IT phone (RAZR,PEBL,SLVR), they can make twice as much money without having to actually improve the product.

now, if only they would actually do something on the software side to brighten things up. please, please, motorola, hire somebody who actually can do some user-interface programming. do u ever actually read those reviews?

Now Motorola just has to come out with a new commercial like the they showed during the Superbowl...but this time with color asteroids.
