Oklahoma to ban cellphone use by teen drivers

Following the lead of states like Virgnia, the Oklahoma Senate has voted to ban cellphone use by teen drivers. Compared to other state bans, however, the Oklahoma bill is fairly weak. Teens would still be allowed to use hands-free headsets -- though texting while behind the wheel would be verboten. And, of course, the bill does nothing to stop older drivers from clutching their clamshells when they're cruising 24 hours from Tulsa.
