Debitel launching first T-DMB service in May for Europe

While those new DVB-H handsets may have stolen the show at CeBIT, archrival mobile digital TV standard DMB is not without a few tricks of its own. Debitel AG just announced that they will launch Europe’s first commercial T-DMB service in May, just in time for the FIFA World Cup. Already, Samsung has announced that they will supply Debitel with their flagship SGH-P900 (pictured) giving fanatics a taste of that mobile TV goodness South Korean’s have been feelin’ for awhile now. All that remains to be answered is the simple question, "does anyone actually want this?"
