Samsung's SGH-i310 8GB Windows Mobile 5.0 musicphone
Sometimes, just sometimes you do get what you ask for. Introducing the SGH-i310 smartphone from Samsung with
8 freakin' 8GB of capacity. Not only does this latest object of our lustful ways double the capacity of their previous
i300x musicphone, Samsung has
also bettered on the OS by (finally) dropping in Windows Mobile 5.0. Not just that kids, this pup also throws down a 2
megapixel shooter with flash, video recording and playback, TV-out, and microSD slot if you just gotta roll larger than
8GB. You also get USB 2.0 support for moving those AAC/MP3/WMA files on the quick and Bluetooth with A2DP stereo audio
support if those built-in dual-speakers just ain't cuttin' it. On display starting this week at CeBIT with release (in
Europe) during the second half of ’06.

Ahhh, finally. My dreams will come true. Still missing: QWERTY keypad. And the omitting of Windows Mobile perhaps.

Lets hope that they've increased the capacity of the battery too.
My friend couldn't even get one day's use out of his i300 with the chunky extended battery.

Ah very nice, add WiFi and I'd snatch this up as a replacement to my SMT5600 in no time.

Wow so I feel like I'm stuck at T-Mobile. what service do I need to get a cool phone like this, Since the SDA or MDA still doesn't compare to having a treo!!!

Most of the high capacity music phones are a bit too chunky for everyone's taste. However, this phone does look thinner than the other Samsung windows mobile slider phones such as the current i730 or i830.

This phone is wacked out!

I have been more and more impressed with EnGadget everyday. The fat that they got the cingular outage story up in a timely manner shows me a site that is being managed in realtime, getting us the mobile news as it happens. Not retread stories snatched from 25 other sites and blogs. Way to go!!

Too bad this phone doesn't look as cool as the Samsung A900 AKA the Blade. Phones that are geared towards younger, hipper people need to also have style to be successful.
