Back o' the Sidekick III?

Just thought we'd show you this shot we snagged (well, not personally) of the back of what may or may not be the Sidekick III. Love that "by SHARP" on there. Alright then, we'll see you next round; same place, same crappy cameraphone pics, we're sure.

Looking pretty good, I'm looking for a replacement phone for my Sidekick II- went on this site to look for any upcoming phones and this is the first post. What a coincidence!

I dont get it....are they moving backwards in technology? there better be some hefty specs under the hood to justfy size/lack of updated appearnce

or maybe theyre taking a page from nintendo and just revamping the look of a SKII?

No, no, no. I do not want a smaller Sidekick and I'm glad that at least Danger understands that. The thing that keeps the Sidekick so rockin' for me is the keyboard and anything smaller would give me the same problems that the Treo did. If I could have the same keyboard and a smaller (especially thinner) phone, sure, I'll take that.

My Sidekick II has survived what the then-top-of-the-line Nokia, Samsung, and Moto haven't: six months of heavy, heavy use (1500+ minutes, tons of text and email). The Nokia 3650 started losing keys (try not having a 6!) and the Samsung just died. At nearly 2 years, my Sidekick has barely lost any talk time and aside from a few scratches from drops, looks and functions like new.

I'd love some Bluetooth, some open-ness from the platform for developers, and iSync integration, but if the SK3 does what the SK2 does best - just work - that's enough for me.

Also, that picture does make the SKIII look smaller. Those hand are different from the other pictures, it could end up being a bit smaller. SKIII could be a bit smaller than II if it kept the same keyboard size, also a brighter, higher rez screen would be great, oh and better battery life...plus all the other goodies people mentioned, oh and if it could heat my latte via a usb connection that turned it into a hot-plate.

Dude so when is this thing coming out?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? i went to a dealer they told me these were fakes then again they were pushing me to buy that samsung slider phone, so they were more then likely BSing me, i really want one!!!!!!!!!

I have also heard that the Sidekick III is going to have Bluetooth, a removable battery and a card that u can probably store media files on, 1.3 mega-pixel camera, no rubber on the sides of it, instead of a scroll it's going to be sort of like a ball, and that it's going to be smaller and kind of thinner than the SideKick III!

Well alls I can say is that i love my sidekick II....and i might not even change phones if there isnt much difference cuz im more interested in the txting and email which the sidekick isgreat at...the camera and other stuff is cool...but my main thign is the txt and email....my sidekick II is practically brand new so i dont see a point in bying a brand new phone when the one i got is in awesome condition...but if i see a demo of the sidekick III and i like it better then ill probly get it...but i like the appearance of the sidekick II better than the sidekick III....which im a girl so i really like to have cute phones....lol...nothing ugly...
