Grundig's X5000 "6 megapixel" cameraphone
You didn't think you'd get away from 3GSM
without some chinsey-looking random handset oddities, did you? Not even some chinsies with crazy "six
megapixel" interpolated 3 megapixel cameras with 4x zoom and MiniSD slots, like the X5000 by Grundig (who claim to be German, but we hear the straight skinny
on these guys is that Grendel, Run DMC, and Danzig are all part-owners of the company). Except that it's actually a Xcute DV2 -- or who-knows-what that
Xcute rebadged. Next!

That's a XCute DV2, which is available for quite some time.
The camera is actually 3mpx (interpolated to 6), screen resolution 640x240px and most importantly - it's video capturing resolution is 640x480 @ 30 FPS (!).

I thought this was an AK Mobile product? It's listed on no-air-time.com as such. I looked into buying this phone a few months ago, but after reading review after review of "Only good for taking pictures" I decided it was too costly an investment without getting to play with it in person first.
Not sure I understand why Grundig's name would be on it, though!

Digital convergence seems to be way ahead of the current state of debate about it!
