Looks like Virgin Mobile showed its hand
today at 3GSM, and it's a DAB TV multimedia phone built by HTC (dubbed the Trilogy, we're told). We were a little
surprised they went with DAB TV and not something a little more standard like DVB-H, but we assume Virgin Mobile wanted
a little more control of the broadcasting on the device (which itself runs Windows Mobile 5.0, has a 2.2-inch display,
1.3 megapixel camera, MicroSD, and, of course, plays digital television at the touch of a hard button off to the side).
We don't know what kind of programming Virgin Mobile's got planned for it, but apparently they'll be announcing in March
or April (Stuff thinks it'll include Sky and Channel Four shows, since this is a UK release, of course).

Ryan, I'm pretty sure that DMB is the implementation of DAB with video. Essentally DMB is just DAB with video extensions. Check out the Wikipedia entry on the standard - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-DMB

What is up with that design? It looks like they stole it off of the Enterprise

Dave- Your right,BT goes with the description of DAB-internet protocol enabled smartphone.
It is an unusual looking phone, kind of a cross between a modern house phone, TV remote and Tri-corder.
Looking forward to trying it out.
