The W220 thin flip phone from Motorola
In an effort to bring a bit of that
RAZR stylin' to the masses, Motorola is debuting their W220 flip phone that is due for Q3 2006 and not bringing much
with it. The phone includes a 128x128 color screen, an FM radio, and some snazzy external display icons, but the good
news is that this decent looking phone should go for next nothing after a contract, so it shouldn't make a bad option
for the no-frills type.

Those icons are a neat idea, this should fly well even though the RAZR is already insanely popular.

IMO, an outer display is something every flip-phone should have. I do like the little icons on the front, very innovative, but I do think that there needs to be some sort of outer screen at least to view caller ID.
Does anyone know what 'lantern technology' is?

For a no frills phone, at least the outside looks snazzy.
Hopefully it's not a piece akin to the V220.

looks pretty good, moto needs to come out with a scratchless phone. I would most def. buy one of them
